International Journal of Education Management and Religion (IJEMR) is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed academic journal that explores the complex intersection of education management and religious values in diverse cultural and international contexts. The journal provides a scholarly platform for academics, educators, researchers, and policymakers to exchange ideas, disseminate research findings, and discuss theoretical perspectives and case studies concerning educational leadership, institutional management, and the role of religion in shaping educational practices and policies worldwide. IJEMR welcomes contributions addressing a broad range of topics, including education management and leadership, educational governance, organizational culture, policy development, the influence of religious beliefs on curriculum design, pedagogy, student engagement, and institutional identity, as well as comparative studies of religious traditions and educational systems across countries. The journal also covers general management and related disciplines, including marketing management, human resource management, financial management, operations management, strategic management, risk management, educational economics, economics of education, development economics, Islamic economics, public economics, entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, innovation management, and sustainable development management. IJEMR publishes original peer-reviewed research articles, case studies, theoretical contributions, and practical applications that offer valuable insights and strategies for integrating religious values with effective educational leadership and management. The journal is intended for academics, educational administrators, researchers, religious scholars, and policymakers interested in the dynamic relationship between education, management, and religion. Published twice a year, in January and July, IJEMR also features special editions addressing emerging issues and developments at the intersection of education, management, and religion.

The International Journal of Education Management and Religion (IJEMR) is delighted to announce a special collaboration with the upcomingInternational Conference on Management (ICOMAN) 2025, organized by the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM).

The selected papers from ICOMAN 2025 — themed “The Future of Management Practices and Sustainable Business Transformation in the Era of AI and the Green Economy” — will be published in:

  • Vol. 3 No. 1 (January 2026) and

  • Vol. 3 No. 2 (July 2026).

This special issue highlights the intersection of  management, leadership, sustainability, and religious values, contributing to global academic discourse and innovation.
