Author Guidelines

Welcome to IEMR: International Education Management and Religion. We invite scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit high-quality manuscripts aligned with the journal's focus. Please follow the guidelines below for successful submission and publication.

1. Manuscript Types

We accept the following types of submissions:

  • Research Articles: Original studies presenting new findings.
  • Theoretical Articles: Discussions offering new frameworks or models.
  • Case Studies: In-depth analyses of specific educational contexts.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews of literature on relevant topics.

2. Manuscript Preparation

2.1. General Formatting

  • Language: English (preferred) or Bahasa Indonesia.
  • File Format: Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12, double-spaced.
  • Page Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
  • Length: 3,000–5,000 words (excluding references).

2.2. Structure

Manuscripts should follow the structure below:

  1. Title Page:
    • Title (concise and descriptive).
    • Author(s) details: Full name, affiliation, email, and ORCID ID (if available).
    • Corresponding author marked with an asterisk (*).
  2. Abstract:
    • 150–250 words summarizing the study's purpose, methods, findings, and implications.
    • Include 3–5 keywords.
  3. Introduction:
    • State the research background, objectives, and significance.
  4. Methodology:
    • Provide a detailed explanation of methods, data collection, and analysis techniques.
  5. Results:
    • Present findings clearly, supported by tables/figures (if applicable).
  6. Discussion:
    • Interpret findings in relation to the study's objectives and existing literature.
  7. Conclusion and Implications:
    • Summarize key insights, practical applications, and suggestions for future research.
  8. References:
    • Use APA (7th Edition) citation style.

2.3. Tables and Figures

  • Place tables and figures in the text, close to where they are cited.
  • Provide clear captions for all tables and figures.

3. Submission Process

  • Online Submission: Submit manuscripts via the journal's online submission system.
  • Cover Letter: Include a cover letter stating the manuscript's originality, alignment with journal scope, and that it is not under review elsewhere.
  • Plagiarism Check: All submissions must have a similarity index of less than 20%.

4. Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • Reviewers evaluate originality, methodological rigor, and contribution to the field.
  • Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript based on reviewer feedback.

5. Copyright and Open Access

  • IEMR is an open-access journal, allowing free access to published content.
  • Upon acceptance, authors transfer copyright to the journal while retaining rights for academic and non-commercial use.

6. Publication Fees

  • IEMR: International Education Management and Religion is committed to supporting open-access publishing and fostering academic collaboration. To ensure accessibility for all authors and readers, we do not charge any fees for the following:

    • Submission Fee: No fee is required for submitting manuscripts to the journal.
    • Processing Fee: No fee is charged for the peer review and editorial process.
    • Publication Fee: Accepted manuscripts are published free of charge.
    • Open Access: All published articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide without any subscription or payment.

    Our mission is to promote the dissemination of knowledge at the intersection of education management and religion without financial barriers.

7. Ethical Considerations

Authors must adhere to the following ethical guidelines:

  • Ensure originality and proper citation of sources.
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Provide necessary permissions for previously published material.
