Publication Ethics
International Journal of Health Systems and Policy (IJHSP) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the principles set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
We expect all parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—to adhere to the following ethical guidelines:
1. Authors' Responsibilities

Ensure that the manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

Properly cite all sources and avoid plagiarism.

Disclose any conflicts of interest and sources of funding.

Ensure that all co-authors have significantly contributed and agreed to the submission.
2. Reviewers' Responsibilities

Provide objective, constructive, and timely peer reviews.

Maintain confidentiality and avoid using information from the manuscript for personal gain.

Disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect their review.
3. Editorial Responsibilities

Make fair and unbiased publication decisions based on the manuscript’s quality and relevance.

Maintain confidentiality throughout the review process.

Act on suspected ethical misconduct with transparency and in accordance with COPE guidelines.
4. Publisher's Responsibilities

Support the integrity of the academic record.

Take appropriate steps in case of ethical violations, including corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern.
IJHSP will not tolerate any form of academic misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate submission, or unethical research practices. Cases of ethical breaches will be investigated seriously and may result in rejection or retraction of the published work.
