Author Guidelines
The International Journal of Interdisciplinary Research (IJIR) welcomes submissions from researchers, academics, and professionals worldwide. Authors must adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a smooth review and publication process.
1. General Submission Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration in any other journal.
- The submission must be in English and follow academic writing standards.
- Manuscripts should be submitted through the IJIR online system at: IJIR Submission Portal
- Authors must ensure their work complies with ethical research and publication standards (e.g., plagiarism-free, proper citation).
2. Manuscript Format
A. Document Formatting
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font size: 12 pt
- Line spacing: 1.5
- Margins: 2.5 cm (1 inch) on all sides
- Alignment: Justified
- Page numbers: Bottom-right corner
B. Manuscript Structure
A standard manuscript should include:

- Title (concise, informative, max 15 words)
- Author(s) full name, affiliation, and email
- Corresponding author's contact information

Abstract (200–250 words)
- Clear summary of research objectives, methodology, findings, and conclusions
- Keywords (3-5 words)

- Background, problem statement, objectives, and significance of the study

- Research design, population/sample, data collection, and analysis methods

- Findings supported by data, analysis, and interpretation

- Follow APA (7th edition) citation style
- Minimum 15 recent references (preferably from journals)
3. Tables, Figures, and Equations
- Font for tables and figures: Times New Roman, size 10-11 pt
- Tables and figures should be numbered sequentially and have clear captions.
- Figures should be in high resolution (JPEG/PNG format).
- Equations should be written using Equation Editor in Word.
4. Ethical Considerations
- Submissions must be free from plagiarism (similarity index below 20%, checked with Turnitin or similar tools).
- Any conflict of interest must be declared.
- Research involving human subjects must include ethical approval.
5. Peer Review and Publication Process
- All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.
- Review decisions: Accepted, Revision Required, or Rejected.
- The editorial team reserves the right to make editorial changes.
6. Article Processing Charges (APC)
- No submission fees.
- No Article Processing Charges (APC).
- The journal provides free access to all published articles.
