Author Guidelines
Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to the International Journal of Economics and Development (IJED) are kindly requested to follow the guidelines outlined below. Submissions that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned for revision prior to review.
1. Manuscript Types
IJED accepts the following types of submissions:

2. Language
Manuscripts must be written in clear, formal, and grammatically correct English. Authors whose first language is not English are strongly encouraged to have their work professionally edited before submission.
3. Formatting and Structure
Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) and follow the journal's template, which can be downloaded from the journal website. The general structure of the manuscript should include:

References (using zootero/mendelly for refrence manager, APA Style (7th Edition)
4. Length
The recommended length for research articles is between 5,000 and 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
5. Abstract and Keywords
An abstract of 150–250 words should summarize the purpose, methodology, major findings, and significance of the research. Authors should also include 3 to 5 relevant keywords.
6. References
IJED uses APA Style (7th Edition) for citations and references. All sources cited in the text must appear in the reference list and vice versa. References should be current, relevant, and preferably from reputable academic sources.
7. Tables and Figures
Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and placed as close as possible to their first citation. Each must have a clear title and source (if applicable). Avoid excessive use of tables or figures.
8. Originality and Plagiarism
All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. IJED uses plagiarism detection software to ensure the integrity of submissions. Manuscripts containing more than 20% similarity (excluding references) will be automatically rejected.
9. Peer Review Process
All submissions are subject to a double-blind peer-review process. The review period usually takes 4 to 8 weeks. Authors will be notified of the editorial decision as soon as the review process is complete.
10. Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright of their work and agree to publish under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
