Copyright and Licensing

Authors who publish with the Journal of Law, Policy, and Global Development (JLPGD) agree to the following terms:

  1. Copyright Ownership
    Authors retain full copyright over their published work.

  2. License to Publish
    Authors grant the journal the right of first publication. The work is simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits:

    • Sharing — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format

    • Adaptation — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially
      with appropriate credit given to the original author(s) and source.

  3. Author’s Rights
    Authors are permitted to:

    • Post their article on personal websites or institutional repositories
