Author Guidelines
Journal of Law, Policy, and Global Development (JLPGD)
The Journal of Law, Policy, and Global Development (JLPGD) invites submissions of high-quality, original research articles, reviews, policy analyses, and case studies relevant to law, public policy, and global development.
Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting your manuscript.
1. Manuscript Types Accepted
JLPGD accepts the following categories of submissions:

Original Research Articles (4,000–8,000 words)

Conceptual/Theoretical Papers

Policy Briefs or Legal Commentaries
-
Comparative Case Studies
-
Book Reviews (upon editor invitation)
2. Formatting and Style
-
Manuscripts should be written in English and prepared in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing.
-
Margin: 1 inch on all sides.
-
Page numbers: bottom-right corner.
-
Paragraphs should be justified with no line breaks between them.
-
Use APA 7th edition referencing style.
3. Structure of the Article
Each manuscript should include the following components:

Title (max 20 words)

Author(s) Name(s) and Affiliations

Corresponding Author Email
-
Abstract (150–250 words)
-
Keywords (3–6 words)
-
Introduction
-
Methodology
-
Findings and Discussion
-
Conclusion
-
References (APA 7th style)

4. Submission Process
Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s Online Submission System:

All authors must register and log in before making a submission.
5. Publication Ethics
By submitting to JLPGD, authors confirm that:

The manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration elsewhere.

Proper citation and referencing have been used throughout.

There is no plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or duplication.

All co-authors have agreed to the submission.
6. Plagiarism Screening
All submitted manuscripts are checked using Turnitin or iThenticate.
A similarity index below 20% is required for peer review eligibility.
