Publication Ethics
JPKM: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in publication to ensure the credibility and integrity of the scholarly record. This ethics statement outlines the responsibilities of editors, authors, reviewers, and publishers involved in the publication process. The guidelines align with the principles set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Duties of Editors

Fair and Transparent Decisions:
- Editors assess manuscripts based on their intellectual content, relevance to the journal’s scope, and adherence to ethical standards, without regard to the authors’ race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or political beliefs.

Confidentiality:
- Editors ensure that all information about submitted manuscripts remains confidential and is only disclosed to those involved in the publishing process.

Conflict of Interest:
- Editors recuse themselves from processing manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist and ensure that the review process remains impartial.

Addressing Ethical Concerns:
- Editors take prompt action in response to ethical issues, including retracting or correcting articles when necessary.
Duties of Authors

Originality and Plagiarism:
- Authors must ensure their submissions are original works and properly cite or acknowledge all sources of information and ideas.

- Authors must present research findings truthfully and without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate data manipulation.

Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest:
- Authors are required to disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest that could influence their research or manuscript.

- Manuscripts submitted to this journal must not be under review or published elsewhere.
Duties of Reviewers
