APC

JPKM: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication after successfully completing the peer-review process. The APC is intended to support the costs associated with editorial management, production, publication, online hosting, indexing, and long-term maintenance of the journal.

APC Details

  • Charge Amount: The APC for each accepted manuscript is IDR 150,000 (One Hundred Fifty Thousand Indonesian Rupiah).
  • Payment Deadline: The APC must be paid after the manuscript has been formally accepted and before the article is scheduled for publication.
  • Payment Method: Payment can be made via bank transfer or other payment methods as instructed by the editorial office. Payment instructions will be provided together with the acceptance notification.
  • Waivers and Discounts: At this time, JPKM does not provide APC waivers or discounts unless otherwise determined by the Editorial Board under special circumstances.

What the APC Covers

The APC contributes to the following publication services:

  • Editorial Services: Initial manuscript screening, peer-review management, editorial assessment, copyediting, and proofreading.
  • Production Services: Article layout, formatting, typesetting, DOI registration, and final publication preparation.
  • Online Publication: Website hosting, article indexing, metadata management, online accessibility, and long-term digital preservation.
  • Journal Maintenance: Maintenance and continuous improvement of the journal management system and publication platform.

Refund Policy

  • APC payments are non-refundable once the manuscript has entered the production stage.
  • If an accepted manuscript is withdrawn by the author after the publication process has begun, the APC will not be refunded.
  • Refunds are not provided if the article is retracted due to violations of publication ethics or failure to comply with the journal's publication policies.
