Call for Papers: JPKM Volume 1, Issue 1 (July 2025)

We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the first issue (Volume 1, Issue 1) of JPKM: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (Journal of Community Service), scheduled for publication in July 2025.

We invite researchers, scholars, and practitioners to submit original research articles, case studies, conceptual papers, and reviews that focus on various aspects of community service, social welfare, public health, education, environmental sustainability, and other related topics.

Topics of Interest

We welcome submissions on topics such as, but not limited to:

  • Community Development: Sustainable practices, participatory approaches, and innovative community-driven solutions.
  • Social Welfare and Justice: Policy implementation, social support systems, poverty alleviation, and equity.
  • Public Health: Public health education, disease prevention, mental health, and healthcare access.
  • Environmental Sustainability: Environmental conservation, climate change adaptation, and sustainable living practices.
  • Education: Community-based learning, education for social change, and inclusive education initiatives.
  • Social Entrepreneurship: The role of social entrepreneurship in community development and welfare.

Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be submitted via the online submission system on the JPKM journal portal.
  • All submissions must be original, unpublished work that has not been submitted elsewhere.
  • Manuscripts should be written in Indonesian or English and follow the JPKM Author Guidelines for formatting.
  • Submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process.

    JPKM: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat invites scholars, researchers, academics, and practitioners to submit original manuscripts for publication in Volume 2, Issue 2 (July 2026).

    JPKM is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes high-quality articles focusing on community service, community engagement, and applied research with measurable social impact. The journal aims to disseminate scholarly and practical contributions that enhance public welfare, promote social innovation, and support sustainable development at local, national, and global levels.

    Aims and Scope

    JPKM publishes original research and applied studies that contribute to theory and practice in community service and engagement. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

    • Community Development and Empowerment

    • Social Welfare and Poverty Alleviation

    • Public and Community Health Initiatives

    • Education for Social Transformation

    • Environmental Sustainability and Conservation

    • Disaster Risk Reduction and Community Resilience
