Archiving

Journal of Studies in Academic, Humanities, Research, and Innovation(SAHRI) is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. We implement an archiving policy that ensures the availability of scholarly work even in the event of technical failure, discontinuation, or other unexpected circumstances.

1. Digital Archiving

  • All articles published in SAHRI are archived in trusted third-party digital repositories.

  • We utilize platforms such as Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital), Indonesia OneSearch, and Neliti, ensuring visibility and accessibility in national indexing systems.

  • The journal also stores full-text articles on its Open Journal System (OJS) with regular backups on secure institutional servers.

2. LOCKSS and CLOCKSS

  • SAHRI supports the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) archiving systems to preserve digital content and enable decentralized and distributed preservation among participating libraries.

3. Self-Archiving by Authors

  • Authors are allowed and encouraged to archive pre-prints and post-prints (author’s accepted manuscripts) as well as the final published version in:

    • Institutional repositories

    • Personal websites

    • ResearchGate, Academia.edu, and similar platforms

  • Proper citation and link to the journal’s version of record must be provided.

4. Metadata Preservation

  • In addition to full-text archiving, metadata of each article (such as title, authors, abstract, keywords, and DOI) is preserved and distributed to indexing partners to ensure discoverability.

5. Preservation Strategy

  • Regular system backups are conducted.

  • In case the journal ceases publication, the publisher ensures that all content remains accessible via institutional and third-party repositories.
