The International Journal of Economics and Development (IJED) is pleased to present Volume 2, Number 1 (June 2026), continuing its commitment to promoting rigorous academic research and policy-oriented scholarship in the fields of economics, development studies, finance, business, and public policy. As IJED enters its second volume, the journal continues to strengthen its position as an international forum for interdisciplinary discussion and knowledge exchange addressing contemporary economic and developmental challenges at both national and global levels. This issue features peer-reviewed scholarly contributions from authors affiliated with ten universities across four countries, namely Indonesia, Nigeria, India, and Albania. This broad institutional and geographical representation reflects IJED’s growing international visibility and its commitment to fostering academic collaboration across diverse educational and research environments.
