Publication Ethic Statements
JMPI: Jurnal Manajemen, Pendidikan dan Pemikiran Islam is a peer-reviewed journal published by Ponpes As-Salafiyyah Asy-Syafi'iyyah.This statement clarifies ethical behaviour of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal, including the author, the chief editor, the Editorial Board, the peer-reviewer and the publisher. This statement is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors. These publication ethics cover the following policies:
1. Authorship and Contribution Policy

Each author listed in the manuscript must have made a significant contribution to the research, whether in design, execution, data analysis, or manuscript writing.

The lead author must ensure that all individuals who meet the authorship criteria are included and that all authors have approved the final version of the manuscript and agreed to its publication.

Individual contributions to the research must be clearly detailed, including roles in drafting and revising the article.
2. Handling Complaints and Appeals

The journal will handle any complaints or appeals related to publication transparently and fairly.

If there is an allegation of ethical misconduct, the editorial board will conduct an investigation and take the necessary actions, including article retraction if required.

Authors or complainants may contact the editorial board via the official journal email, providing relevant evidence.
3. Conflicts of Interest / Competing Interests Policy

Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their research.

Conflicts of interest may include financial relationships, institutional affiliations, or personal relationships with parties interested in the publication.

The journal will include a conflict-of-interest statement in publications to ensure transparency.
4. Data Sharing and Reproducibility Policy

Authors should retain relevant research data and be prepared to share it upon request for verification by other researchers.

If possible, authors are encouraged to upload research data to public repositories and include the link in the manuscript.

The journal encourages transparency in research methods to enable replication by other parties.
5. Ethical Oversight Policy

All research involving human or animal subjects must obtain approval from an appropriate ethics committee.

If there is a potential ethical impact in the research, authors must explain how they address these concerns.

The journal reserves the right to reject or retract articles if violations of research ethics are found.
6. Intellectual Property Policy

Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original and does not infringe upon the copyrights of others.

Any use of quotes, images, or data from other sources must be accompanied by appropriate permission and citation.

If intellectual property violations occur, the journal reserves the right to retract published articles.
7. Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections

The journal provides a mechanism for readers and authors to discuss published articles through letters to the editor or comments on the journal platform.

If errors or inaccuracies are found in a published article, the journal will publish corrections, updates, or, in certain cases, retract the article.
