Archiving Policy

Journal of Teaching and Learning is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all published scholarly content. The journal maintains a digital archiving policy to protect published articles and ensure that the scholarly record remains accessible even in the event of changes to the journal website, publishing platform, or editorial management system.

Digital Preservation

All published articles are preserved electronically through the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. The journal maintains the published article files, metadata, bibliographic information, and publication history as part of its digital scholarly record.

LOCKSS and CLOCKSS

To strengthen long-term preservation, the journal supports digital preservation through recognized archival systems such as LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), where available and technically supported by the journal's publishing platform.

These systems provide distributed preservation mechanisms that help ensure continued access to journal content in the event that the journal's website or publishing infrastructure becomes unavailable.

Repository and Third-Party Archiving

Authors are encouraged to preserve and share their published articles through appropriate institutional repositories, subject repositories, or other recognized scholarly repositories, subject to the journal's copyright and licensing policy.

Permanent Access

Published articles remain part of the permanent scholarly record. In the event that the journal ceases publication or experiences significant technical disruption, reasonable measures will be taken to preserve and maintain access to previously published content.

The journal is committed to continuously improving its digital preservation and archiving practices in accordance with recognized standards for scholarly publishing and long-term digital preservation.
